Akai MPC1000

 Music Production Center is a laptop-sized unit that serves as a portable complement to the MPC2000 and MPC4000 and is a powerful DJ production tool on its own. Akai MPC1000 has a friendly interface, easy-to-use MIDI sequencer and drum sampler, and velocity- and pressure-sensitive pads for expressive play. Two separate effects processors plus a main-out processor included in Akai MPC1000 can be used simultaneously. Also Akai MPC1000 has 2x2 pole filters per voice, two Q-link sliders for realtime control, and 16MB capacity expandable to 128MB. MPC1000 saves and loads data to the included 32MB CompactFlash card and connects to your computer via USB for drag-and-drop convenience. Two MIDI in, two MIDI out ports.
