 Metal Distortion guitar pedal lets you kick on raging tones, and DigiTech HardWire TL-2's true bypass means crystal clarity when it's disengaged. The DigiTech HardWire TL-2 pros choose pedals with true bypass because it's the only way you're going to keep your tone exactly the way you want it between your guitar and amp. The TL-2 also features high-voltage operation for improved headroom over "conventional" pedals, plus a 2-position Tight/Loose voicing switch and Level, Gain, Low, and High tone controls.

True bypass
Serious musicians are highly selective in their guitar and amp choices. After all, it's the foundation of their tone. Adding effects to their signal chain is done judiciously. And when they turn off an effects pedal, they need to know DigiTech HardWire TL-2 is not creating undesirable noise or coloring the unique character of their tone. High-voltage operation
With the high-output pickups found on some electric guitars, it's not unusual to hear clipping when playing through an effects pedal. This occurs when the voltage range produced by a guitar's pickup is greater than the operating voltage of the effects pedal - normally limited to the voltage supplied by the effect's battery or power supply. DigiTech HardWire TL-2 HardWire pedals incorporate special circuitry that increases the operating voltage "headroom" above that of the typical pedal. As such, HardWire pedals are compatible with a wider range of guitars and are also at home in an amplifier's effects loop.
