RME HDSPe Express Card

 is an excellent mobile recording solution that allows you to connect your Multiface II, Multiface, Digiface, and RPM DJ interface to your computer for full-on recording. The RME HDSPe ExpressCard connects to any of the compatible audio interfacse via one FireWire cable, though data transfer happens via RME's own blazing proprietary bus protocol rather than FireWire. Ultimately providing a fast transfer rate of up to 500MB/s - 250MB/s in each direction, you can ramp up your mobile recording system with the RME HDSPe ExpressCard.

The HDSPe ExpressCard is based on the PCI Express Base Specification v 1.1 and due to the packet-based full duplex communication, the card can transfer rates of up to 250MB/s in each direction. This is the same performance a PCIe card would offer on a desktop computer.
