Roland FP4 delivers concert piano sounds with the intricate details of an acoustic piano. The keys of Roland FP4 are touch-sensitive, feeling like a real piano. The high-quality voices of the piano provide an expressive performance through the FP4's built-in speakers. A library of background rhythms is supplied for session-style performances.

The piano multi-samples on the FP-4 are taken directly from the legendary Roland RD-700SX, but you get to enjoy them at a fraction of the RD-700SX's price. The samples are rich, spacious, and long, with 128 note polyphony ensuring that every note you plays decays naturally whether you're playing quick arpeggios or somber chordal work. The full dynamic range is represented beautifully, too; a characteristic you'll appreciate even more when you lay your hands on the responsive PHA alpha II real-feel keys.
