Sonnox Enhance

bundle includes the Oxford Inflator, Oxford Transient Modulator and the Oxford Limiter plug-ins. Each of three plug-ins can add loudness, presence and punch to any audio tracks or mixes.

The Oxford Inflator plug-in offers an increase in the apparent loudness of almost any program material without obvious loss of quality or audible reduction of dynamic range. It was developed in response to requests from mixing and mastering engineers who are required to compete on the basis of the overall apparent loudness of their final results.

The Oxford Transient Modulator plug-in allows dynamic level of signals to be modified by the transients in the program material over time. It was developed to address the common situation where there is a need to selectively tighten up percussive instruments or soften the unwanted percussive effects of acoustic musical instruments.

The Oxford Limiter plug-in provide a very high degree of quality and usability in program loudness control and limiting. It employs highly accurate logarithmic side chain processing, along with adaptive timing functions using look-ahead signal acquisition. The plug-in can deliver general transparent level control, program loudness maximization, or heavily applied artistic sound effects.

Inflator

• Adds presence and tube-like warmth

Transient Modulator

• Accentuates or softens attacks and transients
• Brings instruments forwards or pushes them back in the mix
• Radically changes the dynamics of instruments
• Variable harmonic enhancement for extra punch
• Can have the effect of increasing or decreasing room ambience
• Gives life to dull sounding recordings without the artifacts of compression

Limiter

• Limiter plug-in comprising four cascaded processes
• Enhance section to increase perceived loudness
• Reconstruction meter shows 'actual' signal rather than sampled signal
• Auto compensate feature corrects reconstruction errors without losing overall program loudness
• Attack, release and variable soft knee controls
• Comprehensive dither and noise shaping
• Includes many factory presets
