Tascam Field Recording Pack

 combines Tascam's best-selling DR-1 portable recorder with the TM-ST1 stereo microphone. The Tascam DR-1 includes its own microphones of course, a pair of condensers in A-B pattern for a natural recording pattern. Tascam DR-1 captures in MP3 or WAV format, 24-bit or 16-bit, and includes a 1GB SD Card to start recording right away. The Tascam DR-1 includes an Overdub mode with effects to record over your previous recording to make a complete production.

The Tascam DR-1 features built-in condensers A-B pattern right out of the box, but adding the ST1 gives you the ability to pace a mic away from the recorder. Recording in either MP3 or WAV format at 24 or 16-bit, the Tascam DR-1 comes equipped with Tascam DR-1's own 1GB SD Card so you can start recording right when you pull it out of the box. With Overdub functionality and on-board effects, add to your initial recording and develop an incredible production.

The TM ST1 allows the stereo image to be widened, with the use of Tascam DR-1's Mid-side, to boost the overall ambience or audience sound and can be narrowed to reduce all background sound that may hinder a project. The 1/8 inch connection plugs straight into the Tascam DR-1 or any other recorder thru a TRS input for a detailed stereo sound. Mono Compatible.

Great recorder
The Tascam DR-1's built-in stereo microphones include a unique variable angle mechanism, so you can set it to record from any angle. The Tascam DR-1 is the first portable recorder to include a 1GB card, so you'll have plenty of CD or MP3-quality recording time for long rehearsals and concerts.

Stellar stereo mic
Tascam's TM-ST1 is a stereo microphone with stereo pattern switching. You can select between 90 and 120 degree pickup to capture more ambience or to reduce background noise. The Tascam DR-1's mid-side design captures a wide stereo field while maintaining a solid center image.

Electret condenser
The TM-ST1 uses a back-electret condenser design for crisply detailed audio with a long battery life for portable recording. The output cable terminates to a 3.5mm stereo jack, ideal for plugging into the Tascam DR-1 recorder.
