Ultimate Support MS-36B2 36" Studio Monitor Stands feature a black aluminum column and cast-zinc base, and rubber isolation pads on the black-finished, 14" wooden speaker shelf. The column may be filled with shot or sand for acoustical de-coupling, thereby creating an ultra-stable, bottom-heavy base. Two cable channels are available inside the column to separate the audio and power cables, and metal spikes attach to the speaker space to secure the stand on a carpeted surface. Rubber feet are included as well for resting the stand on hard surfaces.
