Open back
Using titanium-plated drivers, Ultrasone PRO 2500's open-back design provides the most "airy" sound in Ultrasone's PRO line. If you prefer the comfort of an open-back system, PRO 2500 headphones offer it in spades, without sacrificing accuracy.

Directional, natural sound
Instead of driving sound directly into your ears, S-Logic technology positions various drivers pointing at different parts of your ear, and then the sound finds its way into your ears as it would in the real world. If you're uncomfortable listening to headphones because the sound seems to emanate from the middle of your head, then Ultrsone PRO 2500s are a great choice.

ULE technology
PRO headphones include Ultra Low Emission (ULE) technology with significant benefits for professional users and PRO headphones show a specific design. To understand what ULE-technology does, you need to know that most headphone drivers produce low-frequency magnetic fields as they convert an electric signal into an acoustical signal you hear as music. In response, Ultrasone developed a special MU Metal shielding (ULE technology) to reduce the radiation by up to 98 percent compared to current headphones. Ultrasone originally developed the ULE technology for professionals, who spend half of their lives in headphones.

Hearing protection
S-Logic™ does not only create a Natural Surround Sound. S-Logic technology of Ultrasone PRO 2500 not only helps to create a natural surround sound; it also allows a reduction of sound pressure levels by up to 40 percent (3-4 dB) for the same perceived loudness. This can help reduce the risk of hearing damage while ensuring hours of fatigue-free listening.
