 is a 61-key synthesizer workstation. MOTIF XS6 gives you several great new sounds and options, such as acoustic piano, electric piano, and orchestral waves, key-off/legato/cycle wave/random assignable functions, eight elements per voice, half damper, and vocorder. VCM vintage effects include EQ, compression, reverb, phaser, flanger, and wah. Yamaha MOTIF XS6 also features a full complement of effects, an Integrated Sampling Sequencer, and impressive computer and software connectivity. The FSX action of the keys feel better than other instruments in its class, plus 8 knobs and 8 sliders let you instantly tweak a variety of parameters and effects as you play.

Yamaha MOTIF XS6 keyboard workstation gives you the power to create, using the Xpanded Articulation Synth engine's 355 MB of WAVE ROM, a studio-style mixing environment and Virtual Circuitry modeling effects to fire your imagination. The user interface on the 61-key XS6 features a large color LCD screen with eight knobs and sliders. • The powerful sound engine and 355 MB of high-quality waveforms provide realistic sound to enhance your performance.
• The Expanded Articulation (XA) tone generation system in MOTIF XS6 enhance performance techniques like legato, staccato, and key release for realistic sound.
• The XA system also has other modes for random and alternate sound changes while you play. A wide variety of special Mega Voices offers complexity and nuance to your music, when used with sequencer tracks or special Mega Voice Arpeggios.
• The MOTIF XS6 Synthesizer features the natural half damper effect for acoustic piano sounds. With this feature you can subtly control the sustained sound by pressing the damper pedal.
• Play more genres and styles with this Yamaha MOTIF keyboard, as it provides a large selection of voices and drum kits.
• Approximately 6000 arpeggio phrases are included in this Yamaha MOTIF XS6 synthesizer. You can run four different arpeggios, playing four different instrument parts, simultaneously.

• The remote control mode lets you control the DAW software right from the panel of the MOTIF XS. The keyboard is designed to operate with popular DAW software such as Cubase, Logic, SONAR, and Digital Performer.
• This Yamaha MOTIF keyboard comes with a copy of Cubase AI, a music production software. Cubase AI can be easily upgraded to Cubase 4 for professional level recording.
