Alesis GigaMix 4FX

Audio Mixer powered mixers provide 100 28-bit digital effects, 3-band active EQ on every input channel, switchable +48V phantom power, powerful 9-band graphic EQ, rugged ABS construction and more. Alesis GigaMix 4FX has also a high-pass "rumble filter" on the main outputs, an external effects loop, master tape send and return for recording and playback, and a footswitch input for effects bypass.

Alesis GigaMix 8FX features 8 XLR mic and 1/4 in. line inputs (6 mono, 2 stereo), dual 9-band graphic EQs, and 400 Watts of power per channel with switchable stereo main out, or mono main and mono monitor outputs.

Alesis GigaMix 6FX features 6 channels of XLR mic and 1/4 in. line inputs (4 mono, 2 stereo), dual 9-band graphic EQs, and 300W of power per channel with switchable dual mono main out, or mono main and mono monitor outputs.

10/16/2011 - If you have it for a small use such as meeting type setting in small rooms with a few singer, it’s perfect. But for us, we want to add more instruments such as guitar, bass or keyboard. The mixer is not large enough. It is difficult to combine with other consoles as it has limited outputs. I will purchase a larger one.

04/17/2011 - Alright, I am only using this as a part of my recording work station and for that purpose it is unbelievable. Now I am not a big time recorder, I just like putting my music on CD then showing it off. I take allot of pride in my music and so when something sounds like crap i'll say it, but this peice right here is pretty nice. Really its just like any other mixer except it has 99 different effects from playing in a hall to playing in a room with wooden floors, really I think they all sound the same, but thats just me. In any case it adds a nice little effect to the recording, because when you record you know the atmosphere can make the difference, so with this you can play around with the effects to get the atmosphere you want for your music. And the price folks! Man the price, they are practically giving it to you. The only thing that would make the offer sweeter is if they hand delivered a slice of cake to your door. So the summery, its great for recording, great featuires, and an unbeatable price.
