Alesis Surge 16" Electronic Dual Zone Ride Cymbal with Choke

Alesis Surge

 16" Electronic Ride Cymbal with Choke utilizes custom brass-alloys and Piezo based triggers for incredible realism. This cymbal uses a special, clear dampening layer on top of the brass-alloy for muting. When you grab this cymbal during play, it will choke off just like a real cymbal. This cymbal zone for replicating bell sounds as well as crash or ride sounds for even more versatility. All Surge cymbals can be mounted to standard cymbal stands for use with any drum kit. The special mounting design keeps the cymbal from twisting while playing.
