The quality is great, the only mechanical parts are the 2 volume controls and if you leave them in a permanent position like 3 o clock & control your volume with your mixer this box should last you 10 years just keep a extra copy of your favorite software ( I use sonar 5 producer first choise & pro tools second choice ) 2 copies of your music productions, a new computer every 3 years but by then your Echo will be discontinued the driver wont exist any longer for your new computer and even if your Echo still working you will end buing the new Echo model in the market. A Good Product!
