Almost Perfect! I sent one email and made one phone call to tech support in regards to my issue. (garbled noise from the headphone out) I had found numerous posts on laptop forums all over the Net regarding problems with the ENE chipset, but found no links to the actual utility provided by Echo. (most disappointing was that Echo itself didn't have links on their site) Even during the duration of this call (during which I was not spoken down to and had a very good, brief conversation as soon as I got through, which was immediately) I received in my email a link to the utility, along with simple instructions. The tech was courteous, one of the best tech support calls I've had. The same tech also replied to my email (I had sent the email over the weekend and thought the phone path may prove quicker but I got replies through both channels) Again, Echo, put a link up to the damn utility!!!

The first thing you will notice when you play an mp3 is the well improved Bass, near pristine high ends. A few hours with the Indigo io and you'll hate to listen to anything without it. Indigo gives you much more depth to the music and overall a fabulously improved sound quality.

The Echo Indigo combines high-quality audio playback with low-latency ASIO drivers, resulting in a compact and affordable card with plenty of gain and fantastic sound. A good buy. I’m very satisfied.

What an excellent product. It's intuitive, not too cumbersome and it really makes a difference in the way mobile PC sound plays into external audio equipment. I like the analog volume control; it's really easy to adjust the output level. Other cards have a GUI that is not as easy to use or locate on the fly. As far as the performance, it's definately the best I have used so far.

Several hours of listening to CDs through the Indigo revealed that the clarity and definition of the headphone amplifier in this card is far better than any I have ever heard in a computer. I was surprised at the low-end definition and clarity. My next step was to take my computer into the studio to see how the converters stand up to critical listening through monitors in a controlled environment. Once again I was impressed. The card's converters sound very good, with tremendous depth. Perfect! Good job, Echo!

Feature: Lack of midi but pretty small and light if you are short on space. Quality: by accident i have drop the card once and it crack open. the 1'8 jack output feal a little cheap when removing a jack inserted. The driver for win xp are rock solid!! 3 ms latency with no cpu spike or glitch. Sound: A little less open and detail than m-audio and motu card. But still better than a soundblaster.
