M-Audio Delta 44?
? PCI audio interface offers the same features and high performance as the Delta 66, but M-Audio Delta 44 is designed for the person who does not require S/PDIF digital I/O. The M-audio Delta 44 features the same 24-bit 96kHz converter section that makes the Delta 66 the envy of the audio card community. And like the Delta 66, the Delta 44's breakout box handles 4 balanced or unbalanced, +4dB or -10dB signal level analog inputs and outputs. Also included in M-Audio Delta 44 is the Delta control panel software, which configures the card and controls digital mixing and routing.
36-bit Embedded DSP
All Delta cards contain a 36-bit embedded DSP enabling a software-driven patchbay/router for all analog and digital I/O—all with extremely fast throughput for low-latency software monitoring. A single unified control panel of M-Audio Delta 44 provides settings for clock and sample rates, buffer sizes, individual signal levels for every input and output, adjustable +4dBu/-10dBV pad conrols and digital I/O control on up to four installed Delta cards. All controls of M-Audio Delta 44 are also easily accessible through most professional audio software applications for seamless integration and operation.

02/08/2008 - Overall, very high quality. It's worked well for me. You can plug in any 1/8" jack with an 1/8" to 1/4" adapter jack (your can get them for like $1.50). I plugged my computer speakers into input one. To plug the outputs from the Delta 44 into a stereo you'll probably need a dual 1/4" to RCA adapter cable and then plug into the aux input on your stereo. One problem: When I adjust the volume on i-tunes there is a faint popping--but only when I change the volume, not during normal play.
