MOTU MicroBook

 - USB Audio Interface is both a pocket-sized and lighteweight USB digial audio interface, turning a Macor PC computer into a personal recording studio, with all the audio I/O and mixing you need for professional-quality recording and playback. You can plug in your micrpphone, guitar, keyboard(or other instrument) and record up to four inputs at the same time. There is even a connection for an iPod for rehearsing or sampling.

Tracks can be mixed with the included CueMix FX software and DSP-powered effects applied, including multi-band EQ and compression. Even the audio mixer allows you to mix live inputs such as voice, guitar, keys, etc. with your host software playback tracks. With professional analog stereo outputs, a digital output, and stereo-mini output jacks for headphones and desktop speakers, you can monitor your live audio and recorded tracks in various ways.

You can also edit and finalize your recording with the included AudioDesk software. a great many tools for both audio analysis and diagnostics are provided to ensure that the finished audio playback perfectly, even when a stereo file is collapsed to mono. Industry standard drivers are employed for across-the-board compatibility on Mac as well as Windows. The MicroBook delivers professional audio quality and advanced features in a highly compact form factor, from on-the-go remote recording, to personal studio production, to laptop-based DJing and remixing.

Avid Pro Tools 10 DAW software enables you to mix multiple audio file formats and bit depths within the same session - including interleaved - without any file duplication to cause project bloat. Plus, with support for 32-bit floating-point file formats, you'll get higher resolution sound when recording or importing, with more headroom to preserve the integrity of your audio from beginning to end.

Avid Pro Tools 10 is designed with the professional in mind, providing powerful yet easy-touse tools and streamlined workflows that boost your efficiency. Gain better recording and playback performance when working on a laptop, with an external hard drive, or network-attached storage device.
