 stage piano provides high-quality sound and flexibility in a lightweight and portable design and features 88 weighted hammer action keys with 4 levels of touch response. It also comes with 6 selectable voice categories, each with several instruments, letting you choose from grand and electric pianos, harpsichord, and more. The Nord Piano also has a Live mode with 5 live programs, as well as 24 other banks with 5 programs each, letting you create custom programs to your heart's content.

A built-in effects section gives you many useful effects, including pan, tremolo, phaser, flanger, compressor, reverb, 3-band EQ, and more. A transpose function allows you adjust your sound by 6 semitones up or down. A built-in LCD display shows you vital information about currently selected programs and effects.

Many connectors are provided, including 1/4" outputs for connecting speakers or headphones, and a 3.5mm input. MIDI input and output connectors and a USB connector allow you to connect to other MIDI instruments and devices, and properly equipped computers. A 1/4" connector lets you connect the included 3-pedal unit, which gives you full expressive control over your playing, just like a traditional piano.
