Sonnox Oxford Inflatorplug-in provides an increase in the apparent loudness of almost any program material without obvious loss of quality or audible reduction of dynamic range. The Oxford Inflator was developed in response to requests from mixing and mastering engineers to help them survive the "loudness wars" by delivering louder masters without compromising the audio source.The inflator process can not only bring power, presence and warmth to programme material but it provides headroom overload margin above digital maximum with a subtlety and musical character reminiscent of tube systems. You can use the Inflator plug-in to produce louder mixes than you thought possible without overloads or compression pumping, or use it to add natural warmth and character to acoustic or jazz mixes.
