 multi-media player provides pro-level control features and a familiar DJ layout, just built with the same layout and features of the professional series. The CDJ-850 multi player is compatible with a variety of media formats, such as MP3, AAC, WAV, and AIFF formats recorded on USB storage devices or on CD-R / RW discs.

The CDJ-850 comes with rekordbox music management software, helping you to manage all the music files well you've on hand. Once installed on your computer (Mac or PC), Rekordbox allows you to analyze music files and manage them - make settings, create and edit playlists, and save histories - in a way optimized for DJ play and performance. You can use rekordbox to analyze data including the wave, beat grid, BPM, meta tags, and loop settings.

Moreover, you can also save the history of music files played on the CDJ-850 and play them again at a later time. When music files and their associated management data is saved with rekordbox and exported onto a USB storage device, they can be accessed by the CDJ-850 even when it isn't connected to a computer.

Thanks to the new editable Tag List function, the CDJ-850 player allows a song to be registered with just the press of a button while playing or selecting a song, so that a list of songs to be played next can be created. What's more, the order of songs in the Tag List can be changed and the list can be saved as a rekordbox playlist.

Pioneer DJM-700 has fully assignable MIDI functions for those who like to add DJ effectors and MIDI software applications to their nightly routine, with up to 49 assignable keys. Adding to the variety of performance options, the I/O terminals allow for traditional or digital turntables or both.

DJ Software Control and Audio Interface
The CDJ-850 features MIDI, enabling control of various DJ software running on a laptop. With the use of the built-in USB HID interface, the palyer can also control more complex operations of DJ software without the need for a control disc. For additional versatility, it can also be used as a PC audio interface.

Tag List Function
Equipped with an editable Tag List functionality, users of the player can easily register tracks during play or preview to add to their playlist queue. The song order in the Tag List can be altered and saved as a playlist in rekordbox.

Free Rekordbox Music Management Software Included
Pioneer's proprietary music management software organizes and catalogs a DJ's entire music library. When music files are imported to rekordbox,the software analyzes each file and prepares them for use specifically with the new CDJ turntables.
