RME Babyface Silver

 is a high-quality USB 2.0 Audio Interface, equipped with up-to-date 192 kHz AD/DA converters and 2 reference class microphone preamps, providing premium sound quality and designer looks. The Babyface Silver is independent from an external power source.

For the Babyface Silver, the feature set includes an 8-channel ADAT I/O with SMUX support for up to 192 kHz. The optical TOSLINK I/O of it can also be used as an S/PDIF I/O. When combined with an ADAT converter, like the RME ADI-8 DS/QS or the OctaMic II, RME Babyface Silver offers 10 analog inputs and 12 outputs. With the alternative instrument input you can directly connect a guitar or other instruments to the Babyface Silver. That way, the Babyface Silver is perfect for spontaneous notebook sessions without the need for additional hardware. In addition, the central volume control and two buttons make the RME Babyface Silver an elegant control station for typical studio processes: volume control, saving and recall of a reference level, dim, input selection etc.
