Roland CM-220is a portable monitoring system for playing, practicing and recording, which includes a subwoofer and two small satellite speakers. The subwoofer is not only active but it also houses the amplification system for the passive satellite speakers as well as being the hub for all your multimedia inputs. The inputs include a 1/4 inch instrument jack, RCA and 3.5mm mini jack, XLR/TRS balanced jacks and finally a coaxial S/PDIF digital jack. The unit also contains a built in three channel mixer proifding independent volume cotrols, high and low EQ, and volume controls for the master and subwoofer levels.The CM-220 is a 200-watt system, with 100 watts of power for the 10 inch subwoofer and 50 watts each for the two satellite speakers. In this system, the satellite speakers are two-way designs with 4-inch midrange drivers and ¾-inch tweeters. And the optional ST-CMS1 is ideal for use with the satellite speakers in a CM-220 system, providing high stability and secure operation with heavy-duty steel legs and a thick, height-adjustable centre pipe.
