 cardioid condenser microphone is perfect for use in acoustically less perfect rooms. Not only does the MKH 40 mic feature symmetrical transducer technology, making sure that it has extremely low distortion but it features extremely low self-noise and neutral directional characteristics, that's to say, you can expect to hear an exceptionally balanced sound. The MKH 40 comes with a shockmount and windshield for optimum sound straight out of the box.
