This mic also has lightweight, slim-profile design, making it ideal for overhead capturing on a drum kit. Its cardioid pickup pattern is effective in minimizing noise and ambiance at the off-axis sections of the capsule, making it less susceptible to feedback when using near monitor speakers. An internal shock mount protects against structure born noise. The microphone features an On/Off switch and is powered via external phantom power source or AA battery.
