Yamaha WX5

 is a full-featured wind MIDI controller with a sax-compatible, 16-key layout and high-resolution wind and lip sensors, that comprehensively addresses the musical details and requirements of the Wind-to-MIDI process with an astonishing array of expressive performance controls. The WX5 ships with 2 mouthpieces (including Sax mouthpiece with reed and Recorder mouthpiece) and is fully compatible with General MIDI (GM) instrument sets. For enhanced sound selection, pair the WX5 with any of Yamaha's XG series of expanded GM-soundset instruments. And finally, the Yamaha VL70-m Tone Generator is custom-made for the WX5, offering modeled voices that respond especially well to this wind controller's controls.
