The BOSS AC-3 is a guitar effect pedal that lets you play your favorite electric guitar like an acoustic guitar. The Boss Acoustic Simulator uses COSM technology to simulate the sound of a number of high-quality acoustic guitars. Standard (regular acoustic), jumbo (large body acoustic), enhanced (responsive acoustic) and Piezo (acoustic with piezo pickup) guitars are available for simulation.
The Body and Top parameters may be used to replicate four various types of guitars, each of which can be fine-tuned to taste. There is a built-in reverb circuit. Separate outputs for guitar amps and recording or direct to a recording device allow you to adjust your output to the occasion. The BOSS AC-3 Acoustic Simulator Pedal lets you play an acoustic guitar without carrying a separate instrument.
