The BOSS AD-2 Acoustic Preamp has an Acoustic Resonance effect that mimics the unique tone characteristics of an unplugged acoustic guitar. A notch filter for feedback reduction, a balanced DI output, and other stage requirements are also included.

As you adjust the Acoustic Resonance control, you’ll hear BOSS’s cutting-edge digital processing get to work evaluating the input signal from your guitar and responding much like an acoustic guitar would without an amplifier.

When creating the AD-2, BOSS gave special consideration to controlling feedback. On the pedal’s face, there is a convenient knob titled Notch that is just as easy to use as the Resonance feature.
