The BOSS DD-7 Digital Delay Pedal can fit on your pedalboard and be used with almost any playing style thanks to its increased delay period of up to 6.4 seconds and additional delay effects. The DD-7 is a clean digital delay with high-fidelity repetitions, but it also has a Modulation Delay mode that adds chorusing to the delay trails, as well as an Analog Delay mode that emulates the warm delay trails of the much sought-after classic BOSS DM-2 delay pedal.
Despite its small size, the DD-7 is packed with features, including dual input and output connectors for mono or stereo operation. There are several stereo modes to choose from, including classic 2-in/2-out true stereo, panning mode for large spatial delays, and effect + direct mode for total control over signal mixing.
The BOSS DD-7 may be powered by either a single 9V battery or an additional 9 VDC power supply. BOSS’s signature sturdy metal casing with a non-slip rubber base houses the circuitry. By unscrewing the thumbscrew at the front of the pedal, you may easily reach the battery compartment. Two reference stickers are included with the pedal, allowing you to quickly see what each knob regulates in each mode. While the pedal is disengaged, a buffered bypass is used to drive lengthy wire lines.
