The JBL EON718S Powered Subwoofer is a 1500W 18″ 2-way PA subwoofer. The EON718S delivers a studio-monitor-quality sound, providing remarkable performance for nearly any live application. An LCD screen makes accessing PA functions easy and onboard EQ parameters can be controlled via Bluetooth.
This subwoofer has a peak SPL of 131 dB, plenty of volume for smaller venues. It’s ideal for houses of worship, bars, clubs, and mobile DJs. The JBL EON718s is powered by a highly efficient 1500W amplifier, which delivers powerful, deep bass at a frequency range of 120 Hz to 40 Hz.
Two XLR-1/4″ combo inputs on the back and two dedicated XLR pass-thru outputs allow you to connect to extra loudspeakers. This allows the user to provide a clean look by linking the top full range speaker to the bottom sub so that extra cabling isn’t required. Both channels are controlled by a single knob, which sums their signal to the internal amplifier.
The single subwoofer can be stacked for storage or cardioid operation. You may elevate a full-range top above the subwoofer using the inbuilt M20 threaded speaker pole mount. The birch plywood shell is finished with a tough Duraflex paint which is designed for extended life and durability. The rear panel includes an LCD control module with variable crossover, parametric EQ, polarity inversion, and other features.
