Novation Launchpad Pro MK3 MIDI grid controller sticks to the original Launchpad template but features a slimmer body, larger pads, new outer buttons and two MIDI outputs. Under the hood, it promises deeper Ableton Live integration, a step sequencer, as well as chord and user modes, alongside other small tweaks.
This is Novation’s most advanced grid controller for Ableton Live production. The specialized buttons on the Launchpad Pro bring you closer to Ableton’s Live workflow. Without touching your mouse, you can launch clips and scenes, access mixing, device and transport settings, and quantize, duplicate and double them. Capture MIDI ensures that you never miss an opportunity.
With the four-track, eight-note polyphonic, 32-step standalone sequencer, you can keep your tracks growing. In Ableton Live, you can sequence virtual instruments and instantly print patterns to clips. Alternatively, connect Novation Launchpad Pro MK3 to your favorite hardware to play patterns through the included MIDI port. Grooves are taken off-grid with Micro Steps. You can change your patterns on the fly using Probability, Mutation, Sync Rate and Play Order. Complete songs can be built by chaining together patterns and assigning them to scenes.
The Novation Launchpad Pro MK3 ships with two USB-C-A cables, a USB power supply and two mini jack-DIN MIDI adaptors.
