The Radial Engineering ProAV1 passive direct box is built with the audio-video integrator in mind for multi-media applications. The equipment has a number of stereo inputs that are combined to mono through a resistive mixer, making signal control much easier. Custom wound transformers with a linearity range of 20Hz to 18.5kHz are used. The AV1’s smooth Bessel curve is warm and natural, making it well-suited to digital sources that might be harsh.
