Roland TR-8S Rhythm Performer is an innovative new instrument that fuses Roland’s renowned rhythm machine legacy with modern sound design features tuned for live performance. The TR-8S combines the legendary sound, form, and function of the vintage TR-808, 606, 909, 707, and 727 rhythm machines with cutting-edge performance and live pattern manipulation capabilities to create a modern-day classic, well-suited for stage or studio.
The TR-8S also includes percussion-tuned effects for enhancing sounds with character, depth, and space. There’s a Master FX knob for processing the entire kit and a control knob for each channel, and both can be custom-configured with favorite effects parameters for sound shaping on the fly.
The TR-8S features 8 analog audio outputs that you can use to separate your sounds for recording or processing purposes. But if you’re recording to your DAW, it’s even easier to use the USB connection – you’ll be able to record every TR-8S channel to a separate track in your DAW in a single pass.
