The white Roland R-07 is a portable audio recorder that gives artists, journalists, or students with high-resolution audio and an array of accessible recording options to capture mission-critical sound on the move. It is powerful and easy to carry in a pocket. The recorder supports mono and stereo WAV recording at speeds up to 24-bit / 96 kHz and MP3 recording at rates up to 320 kb/s and comes with an inbuilt stereo mic and a mic/aux input for connecting a lavalier mic or an external device. Its Hybrid Limiting, Dual Recording, and Scene capabilities allow users to select all of the important recorder settings with a single touch, allowing them to improve audio capture of on-location interviews, on-the-road demos, classrooms, boardrooms, field recording, and other applications.
The R-07’s Bluetooth capability allows you to remotely control a variety of tasks, check the status, and adjust levels even when the device is at an ideal recording location that is out of your reach. Additionally, Bluetooth speakers and headphones with Qualcomm aptX audio technology support are available for listening.
Other capabilities include reverb effects and a Speed Variation tool, which lets you adjust the playback speed by 50% to 150%. These features are excellent for transcribed interviews and song memorization. The R-07 can run for up to 15 hours on two AA batteries and records directly to microSD and microSDHC cards.
