Roland WM-1 Wireless MIDI Adaptor and WM-1D Wireless MIDI Dongle provide wireless MIDI communication between multiple devices, including keyboards, drum machines, and other MIDI hardware, Mac and Windows computers, and iOS mobile devices. The Roland WM-1 connects to MIDI hardware devices with standard 5-pin MIDI I/O, while the Roland WM-1D connects to computers and iOS devices via USB.
The WM-1 is an adapter that lets you send MIDI information wirelessly at a range of up to 30′. Also, the WM-1 Wireless MIDI Adaptor is powered for up to 60 hours by a single AAA battery. The WM-1D is a USB dongle that lets your Mac or Windows computer send and receive MIDI information wirelessly at a range of up to 30′ from a WM-1 unit. It’s powered over USB.
