The SS-CDR250N has a slew of smart features that you’ll appreciate. This device can record stereo 16- and 24-bit WAV files at up to 96kHz, MP3 files at up to 48kHz and CD-DA at 44.1kHz. SD, SDHC and SDXC cards, USB flash drives, and CD-R, CD-R-DA, CD-RW, and CD-RW-D are all supported by the unit’s onboard CD recorder. XLR balanced and RCA unbalanced analog I/O, AES/EBU XLR and S/PDIF coaxial digital I/O, and Ethernet for control and file transfer are all included. There are two onboard mic preamps with phantom power, parallel and RS-232C serial control, flash start, Variable Speed Audition, redundant recording to both SD ports and many other features.
