PreSonus BlueTube DP v2 is a 2-channel microphone preamplifier that improves on the classic BlueTube DP. In addition, the solid-state path feeds PreSonus’ pure Class A XMAX mic preamp with 80dB of variable gain, which is an upgrade from the original BlueTube DP’s solid-state stage. The tube path features a 12AX7 tube that operates at a voltage double that of other preamplifiers in its class, providing good headroom and big tone. The BlueTube DP v2 offers higher high-end clarity, a smoother tube sound, and lower noise than its predecessor.
A professional-grade preamp features 48V phantom power, an 80Hz high-pass filter, a -20dB pad for controlling hot input signals, and a polarity reverse switch. You can visually monitor your input levels by using the illuminated VU meter on each channel.
