The Radial Engineering Power-1 provides clean power and dependable surge protection for studio and live sound applications. Housed in a tough 1U rackmount chassis, the Power-1 includes a high-quality, USA-made Metal Oxide Varistor. This provides improved thermal protection and a longer lifespan. Furthermore, the Power-1 includes a high-rejection RF interference filter that rejects high-frequency noise and AM radio signals, allowing your pro-audio equipment to shine without interference! The Power-1 is designed to power a large setup, with three front outlets, eight rear outlets (four of which are positioned for wall warts), and a convenient front-panel USB charging station. The three front-panel outlets with wall-wart spacing provide power even when the device is turned off, allowing you to connect and charge items without having to turn on the entire rack. The illuminated power switch activates eight rear-panel outlets. Four of the eight outlets have plenty of room for wall warts. A 5V/1A USB Type-A charging connector for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets is also located on the front panel. When the Power-1’s USA-made Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) is activated, an LED lights. The MOV is intended to protect your equipment against changing resistance and high-voltage spikes. Power-1 is non-ground polluting and uses shunt mode technology to reduce system noise.
