The Mackie ProFX10v3 10-Channel Professional Effects Sound Reinforcement Mixer with USB is the best value in live sound, home recording and content creation. Channels 1-2 include a hybrid XLR-1/4″ mic/line input with single-knob compression and Hi-Z (for guitar and bass), while channels 3-4 have XLR or 1/4″ inputs. Inserts, low-cut filters (100 Hz) and gain adjustments are available on channels 1-4. Two 1/4″ inputs are available on channels 5/6 and 7/8, while a 3.5mm stereo input is available on channel 9/10. 3-band EQ, dedicated FX send, pan, mute and level controls are available on all channels. The USB 3-4 switch on channel 9/10 will override the 3.5mm input and permit USB return from a PC. The master output comprises XLR and 1/4″ connections and is controlled by a dedicated level knob, while the dedicated 1/4″ TRS headphone output has its own level control. This sound reinforcement mixer also features a pair of control room outputs, so it’s also great for a studio environment.
The Mackie ProFX10v3 contains an inbuilt effects processor to ensure that you sound great. A mix function, FX level control and a rapid mute switch are all included in the effects processor. There are 24 distinct effects in the GigFX effects engine, including delays, reverbs, choruses, distortion and even an auto-wah option. With a single twist of the Presets knob, you may access all of these effects.
