DigiTech HardWire CM-2

Tube Overdrive guitar pedal gives you incredibly rich tube tone when you engage it - and completely true signal bypass when it's off. The DigiTech HardWire CM-2 pros choose pedals with true bypass because it's the only way you're going to keep your tone exactly the way you want DigiTech HardWire CM-2 between your guitar and amp. The CM-2 also features high-voltage operation for improved headroom over "conventional" pedals, plus a 2-position Classic/Modeled voicing switch and Level, Gain, Low, and High tone controls.

Item Includes
  • DigiTech HardWire CM-2 Stompbox Pedal
  • Foot Switch Glow Sticker
  • Hook-and-Loop Pedalboard Pad
Features

True bypass
Serious musicians are highly selective in their guitar and amp choices. After all, DigiTech HardWire CM-2 is the foundation of their tone. Adding effects to their signal chain is done judiciously. And when they turn off an effects pedal, they need to know DigiTech HardWire CM-2 is not creating undesirable noise or coloring the unique character of their tone. In a true bypass pedal, the signal passes straight through the box when the effect is bypassed. When it's on it's on. When it's off it's off. All HardWire pedals feature true bypass.

High-voltage operation
With the high-output pickups found on some electric guitars, it's not unusual to hear clipping when playing through an effects pedal. This occurs when the voltage range produced by a guitar's pickup is greater than the operating voltage of the effects pedal - normally limited to the voltage supplied by the effect's battery or power supply. HardWire pedals incorporate special circuitry that increases the operating voltage "headroom" above that of the typical pedal. As such, HardWire pedals are compatible with a wider range of guitars and are also at home in an amplifier's effects loop.
