All the connections you need
Because many of the best recording laptops feature a limited number of USB ports, Akai Professional decided to give the EIE a trio of extra USB inputs. That means you can take your controller keyboard, pad controller, and external hard drive, with you, and still have USB ports left over for your iLok or other peripherals. Plus, onboard MIDI I/O lets you hook up any MIDI based gear as well.
