Echo Gina 3G

PCI Audio Interface is the third generation of Echo's budget priced, professional quality digital audio recorder. The original Gina introduced seven years ago to critical acclaim and since then Echo Gina 3G has been perfecting the art of making high quality recording products at affordable prices. The new Gina 3G is designed for the budget-minded musician who wants to get into digital recording without sacrificing quality for price.

This Gina 3G comes with a headphone output, 2 universal inputs with preamps, 6 balanced analog outs, and a headphone output. ADAT lightpipe, optical and coaxial S/PDIF, and MIDI are included as well, so as your studio grows, Gina 3G will be able to work with all your new gear. Echo Gina 3G contains an 8' cable and PCI card that connects to the audio interface. Gina 3G is compatible with PCI-X (3.3 or 5 volt) motherboards and Power Mac G5 computers, as well as older systems.

02/12/2008 - Terrific! I really worried a lot after my buying of it. But once I had the headphones on I fall in love with it! Sounds clean and clear. Works as promised. Reasonable price! No better one for this price!I have recommended to some of my friends , and like me, they enjoys its rich features and easy operation .

09/02/2006 - "Solid, clean sounding and feature rich." Feature: Nice internal mic preamps, phantom power, headphones and powered off the PCI bus. Cable clutter is now minimal. Quality: Very well made. Sturdy metal case. Heavy, shielded cable. Trim and headphone pots feel heavy duty. Value: A tad pricy for my tastes but it's offset by the features and sound. Sound: Very clean sound with lots of headroom on input. I was using a 20-bit Layla and it definitely sounds better. Cleaner and hotter. Support: Excellent staff at Echo.

07/18/2006 - You're not going to find a product with all of the features of the Gina3G within $349 of its price range. There are a lot of audio interfaces out there and a lot of midi interfaces, but few that feature both AND XLR inputs with phantom power. This is a real find. The Gina3G has everything I'm looking for. I have a 16-track audio workstation with 8 inputs, but in all honesty, I'm not going to be recording live band sessions anytime soon. With the Gina, you can record 2 inputs simultaneously, and with the advent of computer-based recording and sequencing, you really don't need much more than that.
