 is a virtual piano instrument that features her own Yamaha C3 Neo grand piano. This unique and highly-sought after instrument was built to celebrate Yamaha's 100th anniversary in 2002, and represents the very top of the Conservatory Collection line. With it, Alicia Keys has created a virtual piano that meets her professional standards and embodies the soulful sound that has become her trademark.

Alicia's Keys gives you the soulful sound of Alicia's own Yamaha C3 Neo grand piano (the one she's played on multiple Grammy-winning recordings and chart toppers), but that's only the beginning. Each of the nearly 3,000 samples in this library was recorded in her own Oven Studio — with Alicia Keys, herself, at the piano — for the most authentic sound possible

Alicia's Keys also gives you additional expertly recorded details due to the sample wizardry of Kontakt script wizard Nils Liberg. These details include an engaging and disengaging damper pedal as well as mechanical release noises. Also included are optional sounds, such as the artist's fingers striking the keys and vintage microphone noise. The result is a piano library that's so true to the original that Alicia Keys used it heavily on her album, The Element of Freedom, and even decided to take it on tour. It put great effort into making Alicia's Keys as as authentic as possible. Designed with incredible precision, and incorporating subtle details such as mechanical release noises, a specially developed sympathetic resonance and release system, and even the sound of fingers hitting keys (optional), this unique instrument delivers plenty of lively realism.
